Profile 

When you first meet Olivia, shy would be your first impression until you hear how she is the great organizer of all fun events at the office. She dances three times a week, hikes and enjoys reading works by African writers.

 

A member of the conveyance and commercial department, Olivia specialises in Real Estate & Project Development and Banking, Finance & Securities Law where she represents and advises clients on various aspects of Real Estate Law with an emphasis on the acquisition and sale of properties and contract negotiations.

 

Olivia enjoys doing governance & legal audits and undertakes due diligence on Private Equity Investments Funds with special emphasis on the human resource department.

 

Outside of work, she plays lawn tennis or indulges in mountain climbing to unwind.

  • Advised a Real Estate Developer on the drafting and registration of the Lease documents over 200 plots with the project valued at approximately USD 18,000,000;

  • Conducted Legal Due Diligence on Everstrong Kenya Infrastructure Fund by Everstrong Capital on behalf of a local pension scheme;

  • Conducted Legal Due Diligence on International Housing Solutions Kenya Green Housing Fund on behalf of a local fund manager;

  • Conducted Legal Audits and Governance Audits on various State Corporations and private businesses;

  • Advised a Real Estate Development Company on the drafting and registration of the Lease documents over 100 plots with the project valued at approximately USD 3,000,000,000;

  • Acted for several banks in the registration and perfection of securities and;

  • Provides legal advice to banks on regulatory and statutory compliance issues under the Banking Act, including advising banks on solvency structures and capital structures.
